Have eaten here several times and once again we had an excellent dining experience. The venue just keeps getting better and the newly refurbished reception area has just finished the décor off nicely. Very tastefully done and very welcoming. We had a lovely table in the conservatory, and from the time that we arrived we were treated so well by the excellent front of house staff, nothing was to much trouble, not even me asking for extra gravy! Dad and I started with the Goats cheese with beetroot, whilst our guest ordered the smoked trout pate which came with plenty of toast and so was easily accessible for us to try ;) . For main course I ordered the welsh lamb which was divine, totally melt in your mouth divine whilst the other two had the roast beef served with Yorkshire pudding the size of a pillow! all served with a large selection of fresh veg:- red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, carrots, greens and asparagus and last but not least the nicest crispiest roasties ever. Only complaint :- .... too full for a pud!!!. Sadly I don't have as many opportunities to have lunch out with my Dad, but I am so glad that we chose to eat here today, it made his day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - a Father's Day to remember! Looking forward to my next visit already, thanks all :)
