“Excellent last minute visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We decided that we would have a last minute trip to North Wales on our motorcycles and found this superb Guest House that welcomes bikers with open arms. There is a secure garage at the rear of the property and also a large paved area. The gardens are lovely with great views from the bedrooms, our was to the rear. The Guest house is only a five minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants. The owners welcomed us upon arrival and we were met with a coffee/tea in the conservatory. Would definitely return

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely B&B. We booked late and therefore had the last twin room left which was slightly on the small side for a 3 day stay but would have been excellent for single night. Room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Beds were great and everything needed was available including little treats like chocolates with plenty extra.
We were most impressed by the service Marie and Said offered their guests. They truly thought of everything one needs to make you feel welcome and at home and nothing was too much trouble. Said even repaired my bag!!!!!
I can wholeheartedly recommend Glenwood for anyone looking for great, clean, friendly and comfortable accommodation.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while taking a short beak in North Wales. So glad we found this B&B, from the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We were offered a bigger room (we were with a baby) at no extra cost and Said the host couldn't do enough to help generally. Had a great vegetarian breakfast where they had made the effort to provide more than just the basics. Room was great, clean, tidy, all facilities you would hope for. B&B is also in a great location in Betws, a little away from the 'main drag' (2 minute walk). Betws-y-Coed is a fabulous location for travelling around North Wales, a truly beautifull place. Will definately return and wouldn't hestitate to recommend to anyone

We had a great stay at this guest house on 7th June for a weekend. We had booked a couple of rooms and Marie & Said (the owners) couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. This guest house is in a great location only a short bus ride from Snowden Mountain and only 10 mins walk into the town where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms were very large and spacious and the breakfast was very good also. They have a great garden which we used a few nights for family gatherings. (i have added a few phtos of the garden). We have booked to go again in August.

We stayed here for just one night after a hard Snowdon climb and we struck gold! The location is excellent, a short walk into the village and enough off road parking which is useful as parking is quite difficult in town.
Marie and Said are the perfect hosts, friendly and good humoured and they don't miss a trick when it comes to the comfort of their guests. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are of excellent quality.
Clean, homely and welcoming, I would love to stay here again...

We arrived at Glenwood Guest house on Friday7th June, Marie actually came out of the house to
greet my partner and i, and the other two couples whom we had booked our trip with.
We were given a great introduction to the guest house and the surrounding area.
The room was excellent, and very comfortable.
Breakfast was ample and of good variety, in fact as an ex chef i would say fantastic and presented very well.
Marie and Said should be very proud of the way they run Glenwood, our group are in agreement that we would most definately recommend and indeed stay here again.
Thanks again to Marie and Said for making our two nght stay very pleasant.

I stayed at the Glenwood in June. I don't normally stay in b and be as I prefer the anonymity of a hotel but my opinion has changed. Marie, Said and Marie's dad were all lovely. The room was comfy and beautifully presented. I was visiting my daughter who works in Betwys and they made her feel welcome too without ever being intrusive. I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.
