The Pratchett family have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend trip to Betws-y-Coed where we stayed at the beautiful Tan Dinas Country House. The 8 of us comprising of Grandad Les and Grandma Shirley, Grandson Jay and his beautiful girlfriend Beth, my lovely wife Anna and I...oh and the dogs Fudge and Ben!
Grandad Les has been visiting Betws-y-Coed for over 50yrs, the town itself is completely stunning but what makes Betws extra special is Tan Dinas.
Tan Dinas can only be described as a stunning guest house with amazing views all round. What makes Tan Dinas even better is its current owners, Eileen and her husband John. Both Eileen and John are the perfect hosts who make you feel so very welcome in their beautiful house and the service they provide is first class. The rooms are very comfortable, traditionally decorated in keeping with the stunning property and are accompanied with great modern facilities (including in room SKY TV, fridge, tea/coffee making material and a fantastic on-suite shower).
The breakfast, well what can, restaurant standard. Large choice of both cooked and non cooked breakfasts and the cooked options are so tasty (thanks John). Personally I can remember first visiting Tan Dinas over 25 years ago and the renovations that Eileen and John have carried out are impressive to say the least. Simply put if you're thinking of staying in Betws-y-Coed anytime soon try booking into Tan Dinas, I promise you that Eileen and John will make your stay a memorable one, hence the reason we'll all be back again very soon.
