In a group of 5 friends including me, went rafting here in early october 09. Only one of us had done it before and we were a bit nervous. Centre has an easy to find location just outside the town. Cafe and changing facilities are available but very basic. Our instructor was cool though. It is also good that there is no minimum number of participants, you can even go on you're own and they'll just put you in a raft with some others. I thought the instruction was quite good. We were a bit disappointed that the course was short and you didn't really go anywhere, but overall we had a lot of fun. You have to bear in mind that this is mid-wales and not new zealand. It was £50 each for 2 hours, maybe slightly overpriced but not too bad. Anyone who is scared to try it, don't worry just have a go, you soon get really into it or if you don't they will let you off the raft no pressure. Overall, this is not a jaw-dropping experience but a fun excursion if you're holidaying in the area or can do it in an easy day trip! Have fun!
