What an absolutely stunning part of the country and a wonderful stay. We stayed on a weekend in February 2011 with my parents who were visiting from Canada. My husband and I took the double room upstairs as my father's mobility wasn't great, so they took the double room on the ground floor. After a long drive, we arrived to be greeted with wine, sandwiches, cakes and a kitchen with fresh coffee, milk, butter and bread. And every sandwich filling, wine choice, etc had been tailored to our dietary requirements and preferences. Susan could not have been more welcoming or helpful, providing maps, restaurant recommendations (and reservations) and even driving us into town for our meal! The beds were both incredibly comfortable, and the little touches of chocolates, etc were very welcome. This was a last minute find, but one that has stayed in our memories (and hearts!) for some time!
