“Very Good Food And value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Not the easiest place to find but well worth it when we did (even though Conwy is relatively small).
We popped in for lunch and we really enjoyed it with a good choice of dishes on offer and good value.
The goats cheese (parfait) and chicken liver parfait were both lovely, followed by the pulled pork in bbq sauce.
The dishes were sufficient without being too large, especially for lunch time.
Everything was really well presented and nicely cooked and flavoursome.
Service was good and the staff were friendly. The tables are classy and nicely set-up.
Shame we never got to try it in the evening but on what we had and saw, we'd recommend it.

“Echoing previous review”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

The review placed on 30th December is spot on following our recent visit. Great, superb tasty food but service needs attention in order for this place to have credibility as the No 1 place to eat in Conwy! Easily fixed but in my opinion, needs to be addressed.

“Good value for money!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

Ate here last night with my wife and parents as we live in Conwy and wanted to experience the food and service you offer.
We arrived just after 6pm so were able to order off the early bird menu which was on offer between 5.30-6.30pm. Three courses for under £20 which was a bargain.
The choices were good and had around five choices for each course.
Three of us chose from the early bird menu and my wife chose off the al a carte
The starters all went down a treat. I had the seafood fritters which came out as two seafood balls with tarte sauce and bit of garnish and went down a treat.
For main I had lamb which was probably one of the best lamb I've had in a whole. The texture and taste was beautiful and came with plenty of veg and potatoes on the plate.
Only problem was the dessert I had sticky toffee pudding which was ok but had some sort of liqueur in the toffee sauce which was too over powering and didn't state this on the menu.
Drinks were reasonably priced but no beers e.t.c on draught apart from Guinness. Beers and ciders were served from bottles.
The service throughout was outstanding and couldn't be faulted.
Looking to come back here for Valentine's evening.
