“Good but there was something lacking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Came here recently as a special treat for a relative. Was really looking forward to it but have to say something was lacking. The food and service was good however, I guess we felt "processed" which is not what you want for a quality restaurant. The bill was fairly hefty. None of us mind paying for something that's worth it but somehow this didn't feel value for money. There was definitely something missing from the experience the night we came here but I can't point to poorly cooked food or service.

“Special occasions only!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

This is a treat for the tastebuds. A tastefully decorated and well staffed venue which welcomes you, then offers up the kind of food that will make you want to squat in the kitchen on a permanent basis. It offers the kind of attention to detail that I've come to expect from Stephen Terry - and what a friendly chap he is. It's not cheap, but as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for..." and here, you pay for excellence.

“Lovely Place To Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

We go to the Hardwick for special occasions and have always had great food, with no complaints. The staff have always been polite and helpful, when the food comes we always think it doesn't look a lot, however as it's so rich we always come out feeling stuffed full.I like the way Stephen Terry and his wife come out to speak to thier customers, they have with us anyway and like to have feedback from you.The only drawback they don't do a full menu on valentines day, we would and have told lots of people to go there, excellent.

“Overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Quality of food is excellent although portion sizes are quite small considering you pay such high prices.
