Stayed here end of August for 1 week in a Hoeseason's Static Home - 3 Adults and 5 Children.
When booking the accommodation, the Hoeseasons' Web Site gave us the choice of 6 different types of Home, although in fact there is only one type on site - The Criccieth. And, there are only 10 of these available. The rest of the site (approx 130 pitches) is made up of Static (Private) Homes, which upon enquiry are never privately rented out, and what appears to be permanent Caravans/Awnings. On the Site plan we were given it showed 16 Statics but this number had already been reduced to 10, with the remaining ones apparently purchased privately and added to with decking etc. It would appear that the remaining 10 may go the same way shortly, and that the site will no longer be available for renting via Hoeseasons et al.
There is a Clubhouse/Bar which opens in the evenings (from 8pm) with entertainment such as singers, bingo etc, and on special occasions during the day..... important Football matches.
The Swimming pool is very tiny and supposed to be heated, and there is a small play area for children nearby.
Overall, it's a lovely, well maintained site and close to a fabulous beach (although it's not a 'stones throw away' as per the literature states).....it's a 3 mile drive.....but worth it.
