“Holiday to Ireland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

Excellent stopover en route to Irish ferry. Reasonable cost. Breakfast & evening meal both great value in the "pub" attached. Staff genuinely wanted to help. Little bit more expensive than Travelodge but much better value. Will be our chosen venue for next trip to Ireland.

We are frequent users of Premier Inns because they offer great rooms at a fantastic price. We booked two nights at the special offer rate of £25 a night. Check in was quick and our room was perfectly clean and warm. It looked as though the room had been recently decorated. The bed was extremely comfy.
We had breakfast twice and dinner once in the adjoining Table Table restaurant and all three meals were excellent.
The restaurant staff even arranged to make my husband some fried bread at breakfast.

There is extensive building work going on with the new hotel extension. Our room was opposite the building area but we heard no noise.

The only noise we did hear were the family of elephants staying in the room above us.

The mobile phone signal in and around this area is non existent so we paid £6 for 48 hours of Wifi which we used a lot. There is a large flat screen tv in the room with many channels to choose from and the heater in the room works well too.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay even better. So i'd like to say a big thanks to Nigel and his hard working team.

Our stay at this hotel was worth every penny and we'll hopefully be making a return visit very soon.

Comfortable and clean room but not enough parking spaces, noisy builders directly outside window at 7am and food in adjoining restaurant was very poor. And charging £3 for WiFi on a £90 room is just greedy.

Stayed here with my partner for two nights in January. Winter break away from work and for some chillout time. Hotel undergoing extensive refurb - when we arrived, the plasterers were on stilts plastering the ceiling! Hotel staff cheerful throughout, even under the current conditions. Refurbishment nearly completed and staff looking forward to that! Room ample size with usual facilities. We would definitely recommend this hotel if coming to this area. Whitbread Table Table right next door offering a good breakfast and a good choice of lunches and evening meals too.

Stayed here in december as we were driving back to Ireland for the Christmas Holidays. Took are time getting there but arrived about 5pm. Hotel was easy to find and there seemed to be ample parking available.
Hotel reception was a bit small and bare - but staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Got our room straight away - which was comfortable and warm (it was a cold and windy day)! Shower was great - good pressure and lots of hot water.
We had dinner in the attaching restaurant which was really good and very reasonably priced. Again staff were very helpful.
As with all premier inn's, we had a great sleep and at £29 per night - i would definitely recommend this hotel!! :)

Stayed here in March 2013 as a stop over for catching the boat to Dublin the following morning. We had two adjoining rooms and both were clean and well presented. Could have done with a little more heating as rooms were a bit too cold and March 2013 was a very cold month.
Food in the restaurant was average as was breakfast the following morning.
Overall, good quality budget hotel and would recommend it to others.

Bangor Premier Inn was a very nice hotel to stay in, it was clean and friendly with a restaurant on the grounds. Although they were undergoing renovations at the time it did not disrupt my stay in any way.
