I went there with friends for a Sunday carvery. We arrived in the middle of service at 4pm, as the carvery doesn't finish until 7. We were forced to wait over an hour for the carvery to be replenished, with promises that it would only be another 10 minutes. When we complained, we were told that the food should be ready by 5.25 and the staff member didn't care how long we had been waiting. Whats more, while we were waiting we saw members of staff using their fingers to helping themselves to roast potatoes from the carvery.
The food was defiantly not worth the wait. The beef was incredibly rare, the stuffing was a congealed fatty gunk, and there was large chunks of meat floating in the gravy pot. The carver used the same knives to carve all the meats, meaning that this carvery is not suitable for those who are concerned about keeping kosher.
