I have stayed here a number of times. Run by freindly helpfull chap. Acommodation clean and cumfortable. Good value for monie. Parking at times difficult but not the fault of the owner. Good choice of places to eat a short walk into town. Will be back again.

I stayed at the Shoreline for three nights at the beginning of September while I was studying at Aberystwyth University. I found the owner very welcoming and he appeared to love his job and a chat with the customers, which is always a good thing. My room (which had a sea view) was lovely. All areas of the B & B were exceptionally clean and it was a pleasure to be there, the lady cleaner was lovely and provided everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and was served by a young man who quite honestly could make an excellent career out of it - nothing was too much trouble for him. I genuinely recommend this B & B if you need to stay in Aberystwyth, it was faultless.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view if one is available - its an amazing view and not to be missed.

I reserved a place here purely based on the Tripadvisor rating. Cannot say myself to have been misled in expecting a fairly high quality establishment, especially for the price, which was very good value.

The room I had was clean, warm, and a fairly good size, with a very comfortable bed. While my room was not ensuite, the bathroom was right next door and was also large and well decorated, none of the dank nastiness sometimes associated with B&B bathrooms! Sound travelled within the place, both from corridors and the bathroom, but had no problems being disturbed in the night, everyone was very well behaved after about 9pm! Wasn't entirely sure how to control the heating in the room, but in Aberystwyth, even in September, too warm for me was better than too cold!

The general facilities were great. The rooms have a modern tv and a DVD player, with a raft of DVDs available to borrow from the owners. Good breakfast, in a uniquely maritime-themed room and with a sea-view. Beautiful location on the seafront, a 5-10 minutes walk from the town, which is really where you need to go for food or a pub or similar. Felt like a safe area to be walking around even alone at night. Great place for a trip to the seaside or any business in the town.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back of the B&B don't have a sea view but as a result are protected from howlin...

Comfortable room, nice breakfast, friendly hosts. Good value for money. Woke up to a wild and windy sea but the double glazing kept the weather out.
Very much a homage to the great passenger liners of the first half of the 20th century with interesting photographs

Room Tip: Ask for one of the front rooms, with a sea view.

Very friendly owners, brilliant location, nice breakfast - but in my opinion the whole place needs a really good 'fettling". Unfortunately my room wasn't ensuite (this had been explained before) but did have a useful wash basin. In the event, the high Trip Advisor rating surprised me and was at odds with the entirety of my previous experience. Value for money was just about reasonable.

But the owners are really nice people!

Room Tip: The location on the sea front is brilliant and it's close to the town centre.

Son recommended this sea front hotel, was not disappointed. Owners were welcoming and very friendly. They made my stay friendly and relaxed, lovely touch of providing a welcome bowl of biscuits for my tired and aged mutt, and clean fresh towels everyday. Breakfast is a gastronomic feast, with wonderful views, this year shared with dolphins in the bay.

Ground floor room was clean, comfortable and homely, only downside was the noise from people going for breakfast but more an incentive to wake than an annoying intrusion.

I would book this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Aber, it felt more like staying with friends than just a hotel. Can't wait to stay later in the year. Plus my dog loved the attention.

Room Tip: If you have a dog the ground floor room is brilliant.
