“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Lovely building, lovely view. But little attempt to provide any real food or to make it look appetising. They never seem to have anything left when I go. And it's rather expensive.

“A great place for research”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

The National Library is a great place to do any sort of research, especially if it relates in any way to Wales, or other Celtic countries.
It has a mass of resources, millions of books, newspaper reels, archival pieces. If you are researching a project on Wales, or family history then its well recommended.
The Library also has a small museum attached, which make a fun visit for around 60-75 minutes. Best of all its 100% free!

Well worth a visit!

“Free tours well worth a visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

Having studied here for 3 years I never visited the National Library until we moved back 2 years after graduating. Free tours on Monday & Wednesday are well worth it. The guide (Emyr?) is friendly, knowledgable and very engaging and you will really enjoy yourself as he shows you round the magnificent building and displays!
