Would not recomend this place to anyone!! Firstly its and awful place to find not sign posted well at all, on arival the host was rude and unhelpful. The rooms were clean but very dated, the bunk beds are very unstable and the doors didn't lock at all. Toilets had a terrible sewer smell and soiled tissues were left in on of the toilets. To be honest we couldn't wait to leave.

We booked this last minute as we were moving my daughter into her uni room. It's a great spot, close to Aber and the guest house is spotless, with clean towels and bedding every day.

Our room was above the kitchen, which was a little noisy during breakfast preparations and the shower was a bit temperamental, nevertheless, a good sized room, welcoming owners & staff and a good breakfast.

Very clean and tidy (we stayed in the guest house). The owner was very helpful and secured our mountain bikes overnight in lockable storage. Comfortable rooms and beds. The breakfast was very, very good with high quality sausages, bacon and free range eggs and as much toast as we could eat! We were even provided with some WD40 for our chains before we set off from the accommodation.
A great place for cyclists or walkers.

The owner lady is so friendly and welcomed us warmly and felt like we were at our own home.
The house at back was so spacious and we can even use pool table in lounge.
The surrounding was so peaceful and you can only hear farm animals and birds only at night.

Superb breakfast.

We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends as well.

Booked a last minute break and was very pleasantly surprised on arrival. We stayed in the mansion house 'cos we'd got the dogs and had it all to ourselves, including use of huge farmhouse kitchen. Really quiet leafy spot and 2 min drive into aber. Had a really lovely stay and would certainly book the ensuite again - just £65 and have to say, a real bargain considering the beautiful setting.

Room Tip: Ensuite family room in west wing is a good choice.

Stopped here whilst we moved our daughter out of Halls in Aberystwyth into her new student accommodation and all in all this is value for money. We booked the family suite in Y Gelli in the swedish style chalet. The room was spacious and comfortable, our daughter stayed one night in her room in a bunk bed. (no complaints)The master bedroom is large, and the bed is comfortable, coffee and tea in the room (would have been nice to have biscuits) ,the landlady allows you to have fresh milk from the kitchen downstairs, bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was excellent, I had cooked and food was very good. My wife had cereal and fruit, no complaints. This was very much home from home, we were allowed to come and go as we please, which was ideal as we were storing some of our daughters gear overnight. The property is situated on the right just passed the first island outside Aber. You are about five minutes by car to Aber promenade. The property is set in its own grounds and there is a lot of wildlife around including Red Kites

Room Tip: Book family suite Y gelli
