I choose this venue as it was a runner up in the Observer Food Monthly Best Sunday Lunch Category, and it did not disappoint. Excellent pate for starters, followed by slow roasted Beef with all the trimmings, which was excellent. The beef itself was very tender, the veg was all perfectly cooked, and the gravy was delicious. The only small comment to make was the lack of options for mains was a little disappointing, would have liked the option of another meat, not that the beef wasn't excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.
