“Fantastic Views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

The house is immaculate, much bigger than we were expecting. Very comfortable with all mod cons. The views and the sunsets are amazing. Enjoyed watching the birds flying by and the rabbits that live under the window. Boats sail by every day (weather permitting). The only problem we came across was getting the key out of the key safe, as it is very high up, so would advise bringing a folding step stool with you if you are short.

“A brilliant bolt hole (James Bond style)”

Cannot adequately express the beauty of the location and the sunsets speak for themselves. Property had evrything you need (and more besides) for R'n'R. The wildlife is life affirming and there are the choices to stay local or venture further afield in the car or by bicycle.
Angharad was incredibly helpful with local information and the locally sourced food hamper was a treat.
We'll definitely be returning and have recomended it to friends and family.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

What a find! The virtual tour on the property website looks good but when we arrived we were blown away.It is stunning in every way.The views from the windows are breathtaking, the furnishings and the amenities are first class and we found a bottle of wine waiting for us.We are a couple of oldies and not too mobile and wish we could have found this 20 years ago as the walking in the area looked to be very good.Instead we drove to the nearest pub "The Ship"had a wonderful meal and came back and sat by the log fire.
This is one of our best finds ever.

“Solitude and beautiful walks along the coast - and a week of sun in March.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

The second time I've stayed here, and it gets better every time. The new log burner is an useful addition for off-season visitors and great to warm up after a day's walking. Great food at the Ship in Llangrannog, and the Ship in Tresaith. A great way to get away in Wales.

“Most unique holiday cottage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012 for a stay in December 2011

We spent Christmas in Caerwenfor and had a wonderful time at the well-equipped and extremely comfortable cottage. The views are spectacular, so we spent a lot of time just staring out of the windows. The cottage is very secluded with just sheep for neighbours, but the coastal paths lead to stunning beaches and the nearby villages have lovely pubs with delicious food. And if the weather was bad, and in the dark evenings, it was a lovely to light the wood fire and snuggle up on the sofa and listen to the howling wind outside. We can't wait to return to the beautiful cottage!

“Peaceful retreat”

We have stayed at Caerwenfor three times and the weather has varied from beautiful sunny weather to rain and howling wind but because of the location and views it has not made any difference to our holidays. This property provides everything you need to enjoy a great break far from the maddening crowds and yet it is within close proximity to numerous beaches and towns as well as good class restaurants. We were accompanied on one occasion by our fifteen year old grandchild and were a bit concerned she may have got bored but not at all as she thoroughly enjoyed
seeing the wildlife [everything from dolphins ,jellyfish, hawks, rabbits, seals a fox etc etc] even a hang glider that flew past the windows and of course the chance to take numerous photographs of it all.Caerwenfor is one of a kind and really is a special property that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
