“Superb Cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

We stopped off here for a coffee and a quick bite while on a coach trip from Hull. There is something for everyone on the varied menu. All the food looked wonderful from the quiches and flapjacks to the scones and cakes. After settling on the homemade scones with butter and jam (we were even offered a choice of jam), together with two coffees, we decided to take out a sandwich and piece of flapjack for the journey home. The ham was so freshly cooked we were advised that there would be a few minutes wait as this was still cooling! The staff were really pleasant and courteous and the bistro itself was spotlessly clean. I only wish we lived nearer so we could pop in more often! The awards on the door and notice board are thoroughly deserved and we look forward to returning again when in the area.

“Pigging out in Worcester”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Tucked just off of the main shopping street, we came accross this place purely by accident.
However, what a find.!!!!
It was late lunch time and there were a couple of tables available in this delightful cafe style eating place.

The specials were on the Blackboard and I always find these are worth trying in a new place.

I had the Homemade carrot and coriander soup, which was delightful and came with chunks of fresh bread and my teenage son had bean pate, with toast and homemade oinion relish/pickle. Both were unique and delicious.

The drinks we choose also were excellent- my son had homemade lemon and ginger and I tried the hot mulled apple juice.

A definite recommend for a lunch time eatery

Total cost approximately £15

Hello yngsally

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. From your description I think you actually had lunch at our bistro branch (GINGER PIG Cafe Bar & Bistro, 9 Copenhagen Street). But we're delighted that you enjoyed it. It's great to hear we have got things right as we work hard to provide great homemade food and drink with a smile! Maybe next time you're in town, you might want to check out the other branch which is the Balcony Cafe in the City Art Gallery & Museum on Foregate Street. Further details on the tripadvisor site you used. Thanks again and we hope to see you again!
