My partner and I visited Croome Park on 11 Jan, a lovely sunny still day. It was the first time we had been and the whole experience was very memorable. The parkland is beautiful, with sweeping views across to the Malvern hills. The church is a stunning piece of Gothick (exterior by Capability Brown interior by Robert Adam, with wonderful family tombs inside. The house has had a rough time of it before NT ownership and is being sorted out structurally. Although empty, the NT has made great use of pictures, cut out figures, and props to make the visit very interesting, along with some very knowledgeable room guides.
