“The tower moves!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

Amazed to find that when the bells were ringing because of the Xmas market, when I stood on top of the tower it actually moved by several inches, very unnerving but wouldn't have missed it!!

“Worcester Cathedral”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

I have been brought up going to the Cathedral . It is a wonderful place, yes it is first and fore most a place of worship but anyone interested in history should go. Prince Arthur's Chantry the tomb of King John with St Wulstan and St Oswald. The stained glass windows are super take a look at the West window and spot the mistake Jesus is shown at the sea shore with a red lobster at his feet. The sea must have been mighty hot that day lobsters only go red when cooked! The Chapter house and cloisters are of great interest.
If you manage to visit the Cathedral for a service or when the choir are rehearsing it certainly adds to the atmosphere .
Go from the South door down to the river and see the plaques showing the height of major floods and go to the city bridge to see the Cathedral at its best.. Or better still from the Ladies member stand at the cricket ground

“A beautiful Cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

To enjoy and understand the history of this fine cathedral arrange to go on a guided tour, you will not regret it. The guides are very knowledgeable. Make sure you visit the Bishop's Palace.
Living near Worcester we find that the cathedral although busy with visitors we are able to find
a place to pray.
If you are visiting Worcester by car, parking can be an issue but we suggest that you check on the internet or phone the information centre for car park locations to suit your need.
Like all Churches and Cathedrals to help the running cost a donation is appreciated

A visit to Worcester MUST include the Cathedral
