“Fantastic Place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2007

Treherne House was a real find, we loved it and had a wonderful weekend there. It is a beautiful spacious house with some views overlooking the Malvern hills. The owners have recently decorated top to bottom in a modern contemporary, French repro style - it's very stylish and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the deluxe room which I have to say was worth every penny. It is a large room, a comfy big bed and has better technology than any hotel we've stayed at recently. It felt very luxurious with a beautiful en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath - it was pure bliss after a day of walking! We spent time before heading out for the evening having drinks in front of an real log fire in a beautiful living room, although we can imagine summertime would be spent having a bottle of wine in the garden which is very nicely kept. Breakfast was excellent and we found the owners to be very friendly and knowledgable about the area. We will definitley be back in the near future!

We stayed at Treherne House after seeing a review on Tripadvisor and weren't disappointed. Although a short distance outside Great Malvern (a brisk 30 minute walk), we and our friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and the hosts have renovated it in a stylish and comfortable way and the bedrooms were nicely decorated. The garden is pretty with decking and an ornamental pond. Breakfast was also good, with a choice of fresh fruit salad, cereals, croissants and cooked items. The hosts were helpful and friendly with recommendations for eating out and where to park to tackle the hills.

This is a small hotel that was formally a 'Edwardian gentleman's residence'. It has been decorated to a high standard. The owners live on site and do most of the work and the 'hands on' style ensures that everything is well done.

Bedrooms are modern, clean, bright and tastefully decorated. We sleft very well in the comfortable bed.

The Hotel has only 3 rooms and a public sitting room, so you never feel crowded. The food is excellent , they have won rosettes. The owners also run a gormet food store in town and these standards are maintained in the wonderful breakfast cooked to order by the owner. Take the full breakfast and you will only need a light lunch.

They do not do lunch or dinner, but there are many wonderful restaurants and 'gastro-pubs' in scenic villages within 10 minutes drive offering good food at reasonable prices. Ask for a recommendation or just ask directions to the 'Plough and Harrow' or the 'Hanley Swan'.
