If you are expecting a bucolic view stretching over unspoilt English countryside as promised by the hotel publicity, be prepared for the bight sodium lights of the M50, various industrial estates and the suburban houses that jostle right up the the boundary of the hotel. Yes , it is on a hill in the woods, but you have to climb on a stiff walk to the top of the hill to see the pretty view on the other side. All the rooms with a view, have the "downtown LA" view, but many face into the woods. Check this before you go, because the prices are not as cheap for the view rooms as is made out.
And also check out restaurants in town (Malvern) because you probably will not eat more than one dinner in the well meaning but very poor restaurant: breakfast, however, they do well.
