“A Hidden Gem in the Cotswolds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2012

What can I say...I went to the Cotswold to attend a Vintage Fair held in Toddington...I stayed in the Lygon Arms the last time, but this time I wanted a base to wander the countryside from. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels so my idea of luxury is exacting. To my mind this gem of a
B & B was 5 star luxurious heaven. Jenni has obviously thought long and hard about the comfort of her guests and has managed to pack her home with all the luxuries you would associate with a 5 star hotel. Like Goldilocks who has tried all the other beds this was just right...from the softness of the pillows and beautiful scented cotton bedding, to the locally sourced food and complimentary wine, beer, Baileys and chocolates, right down to the White Company bathroom goody's and heavy white fluffy towels. All of this and the warmest of welcomes from Jenni who was attentive and friendly...nothing was to much trouble and Pam who helped serve the scrumptious breakfast was a mine of information...and so kind...it all made me want to stay longer and longer. I would definitely recommend the Old Station House to anyone who wants to stay in the area for whatever reason, whether that be walking, sightseeing or a romantic getaway. Will I return to this heaven that's a resounding yes from me!

Room Tip: I stayed in room 4, but all the rooms would have this level of luxury and sumptuousness

Spent two nights at The Old Station House in August as our usual B&B in Broadway was fully booked. Right from our welcome to our leaving, we couldn't find fault. We had a lovely room, and the attaention to detail was second to none. Breakfast was excellent, as were the packed lunches Jenni kindly provided. She couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be returning.

We were attending a wedding in Broadway and found this wonderful B&B to stay at. Jenny was so helpful when booking and we were not disappointed on arrival, such a warm welcome and a room to die for, every comfort had been thought of, so many lovely touches, including complimentary bottled water, beer and wine in the fridge, fresh milk as well. On arrival, tea and cakes in the garden, comlimentary nightcap in the lounge in the evening. A selection of freshly cooked breakfasts, fruit compote, cereals, fruit etc. highly recommended.
We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, we were even given a lift to the wedding venue.
We wish them every success in their venture, a wonderful, wonderful B&B. It must be the best in England.

We arrived at Old Station House to a wonderfully warm welcome, tea and lemon cake. Our room was wonderfully furnished and so comfortable. The bathroom was sportless and the towels warm and fluffy. The little touches such as a fridge, complimentary wine and lager refreshed each day, chocolates by the bed and the wide range of teas and coffees (with accompanying biscuits and flapjack every day) made this feel like a wonderful home from home. Breakfast was delicious (cooked to order) and the scrambled egg was the best I have ever had. Jenni was a fount of knowledge about local restaurants and places to visit and this really helped us explore the local area. The Old Station House is a ten minute easy walk into Broadway, flat walking all the way. If you want to spend a few days in the Cotswolds this is the place to stay.

Returned back to the Old Station House B&B and enjoyed another wounderful 2 night stay. As ever we received that fantastic welcome and a pot of tea and cakes on the terrace. Couldn't wait to relax in our luxurious bedroom. Breakfast was very filling with fresh bread, fruit and local products. Nothing was too much trouble for Jenni. We will definately be returning later in the year. Thanks Jenni. Allan and Gill xx.

I just don't know where to start - I just have to completely agree with everything that has been written about the Old Station House so far - warm welcome, every need anticipated and met, spotless accommodation, luxurious and comfortable decor, delicious unexpected items (over and above the smoked salmon, poached eggs, etc. etc.) available at breakfast, including the popular, raspberry compote / croissants. Really looking forward to finding any excuse to stay again and be thoroughly pampered. It was really appreciated. Thank you Jennie and Pam.
