arrived at the place on a winters day with clear blue skies and only a few clouds. didn't use the telescopes as was a quid a go but would have been very surprised if could have seen birmingham and coventry like previous reviewers. The panaromic view is really pretty but despite clear skies, wind and cold temperatures there was lots of mist making distances seem unnoticable. The tower was nice despite the views from the ground being pretty much the same and teh now £5.50 charge being very steep. There was some nice information within it and some historical information but was a bit dull for myself, although if you're really into the war you'll enjoy it. The guy running the tower was a bit wierd and i couldn't tell if he was being rude or trying to make really poor jokes, Personally I wasn't fussed but he really annoyed the missus. Decided to do the nuclear bunker right next to it as well as part of the joint ticket with the tower. Personally I was really dissapointed in this but i'm guessing this was just me. It was only £2.50 which aint bad really. Yet again for people who are into the war, long speeches and very much in-depth info they will probably love it but I was bored to tears with it. In fairness at 25 I am way below the average attendees age and I'm not into massively chatty tour guides so it may just be me as the lady leading this tour was very enthusiastic and informative, it just wasn't my thing really. The cafe at the park was nice but extremely pricey and the staff weren't exactly amazingly organised and the food was ok but not really worth the price. Yet again this may just be us as others seemed to love it.
