“Perfect in every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

I would recommend East House to anyone. We have never enjoyed a better welcome, and the standards never slipped from the moment of our arrival.

We had two lovely evening meals in Broadway itself, at Russell's and the Broadway Hotel, and on the Sat enjoyed a fabulous, although testing, walk to Snowshill and back. Otherwise a thoroughly relaxing weekend at a fabulous B and B, in a wonderful part of the world.

Room Tip: we looked at all the rooms and none would disappoint! but speak to Lauren, she would happily advise...

We returned to stay at East House end of November 2012 for a weekend. This time we stayed in the Jacobean suite - pure luxury. The room is very well appointed and as always Lauren and Andrew have thought of everything.
The welcome and breakfast were high points of our last stay and this visit did not disappoint.
Worth every penny for an escape to the country in beautiful surroundings. You relax as soon as you cross the threshold and by the time you have sat down on the sofa with a glass of champagne the stress just melts away. If you have an eye for detail this is the destination for you.
We will be back......

Room Tip: If you can afford the few extra pounds treat yourself to the Jacobean suite!

Luxury B & B, beautifully run and extremely comfortable. Went for my birthday recently and was most impressed, having never been to a B & B before, although think this is definately an upmarket one to say the least! Would recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway from it all weekend. The Jacobean Suite was the best, so that's the one I chose, although the others were all very pretty. The breakfast was fine and nicely served and the complimentary port was most appreciated!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely

Our stay in the East House was beyond our expectations. Lauren and Andrew's home is beautiful and in a great location. This home base was perfect for exploring other towns in the Cotswolds. From the home, a short 5-minute walk into the town provided access to pubs, restaurants, and shopping. The Jacobean suite was large, comfortable, and perfect for the two of us. Also, the water pressure was great in the shower! Breakfast was delicious and in a comfortable dining room. A nice perk is complimentary port, scotch, or sherry for the evening after exploring the Cotswolds! Lauren was wonderful: informative, pleasant, and fun! I would stay here again definitely!

Room Tip: The Jacobean suite was large and comfortable. Excellent water pressure.

A wonderful find in a perfect location 5*+++!! The best B&B we have stayed in, Lauren the host was so welcoming with a glass of champagne on arrival, she even booked tables for us and recommended restaurants for the evenings we were staying. The living rooms were luxurious, yet homely with complimentary port & whisky, the bedroom (Spencer Suite) at the top of the house was like a secret hideaway....stunning bathroom and the most comfortable bed made it difficult to leave!! The breakfast was wonderful, infact there was absolutely nothing negative to say atall!! A great base to explore the cotswolds and an even better retreat to return to after a day out sightseeing! I would recommend it time & time again! Hope to return soon.

Room Tip: Any room would be a treat!

Easily the best B&B I've ever stayed in - it had a 5* feel but was set in an amazing house full of character and warmth. The hosts (Lauren & Andrew) are very fun, warm and helpful. They gave us brilliant recommendations for everything from dinner to hairdressers. They also went above and beyond the call of duty - I left a jumper at a place in town - Lauren collected this and bought it down to London within the same week! So sweet. Also, Lauren made the most amazing breakfast which was the only think that would get me out of the hugely comfy bed. Lovely touches throughout the house and rooms - e.g., port and glasses in the room. Set in the most beautiful area. I will definitely be going back. Thank you so much.

Wonderful hospitality from the owners and a fab breakfast, so good you're lost for choice (a problem made easier to handle by the fact you can choose several things at no extra cost!)
Location great - this village has everything you need and perfect as a base to explore the countryside and other villages. One of the best things is Broadway has great pubs and restaurants so you don't need to drive anywhere in the evening - eat and drink as much as you want and then just walk/roll a few minutes back to the house! The surrounding walks are beautiful - really worth dumping the car and taking a few hours to get lost in the countryside. Loved it!

Room Tip: All rooms looked great, but Spencer and Jacobean are gorgeous though much more expensive
