This Premier Travel Inn is clean and presentable and just off a main road. It is safe to say that if you know this chain of mid range hotels then you know this hotel. It is just like many others, which is both a strength and a weakness.

Parking was free and in rather short supply, although we did find a space. We did not eat near the hotel so cannot comment on the adjacent restaurant.

City centre hotel. Comfortable and clean room but some traffic or railway noise possible. Handy for town centre and port. Parking is limited and alternatives are a distance away. Restaurant food is OK but very delayed service - took an hour to serve a cold starter and another hour for a main course. Also smoke drifts into restaurarant from nearby bar area.
