Not a place that will attract people casually passing by as stuck in the middle of a factory estate.
Also maybe the entrance fee will put some people off. As for a family it is £23, £8.50 for adults and £6 for children.
Also it is still a work in progress. It warns you it is a working museum , so can be a little noisy and a bit smelly as they can be spraying the aircraft.
That said seen through a child's eyes it is amazing. Yes you can actually touch all of the planes you can see and reach. There are at least a dozen cockpits they can sit in and pretend they are flying, one even makes the appropriate noises!
Staff are pleasant and knowlegdeable , although one very elderly gentleman obviously needed customer training.
Great little gift shop. Apparently as time goes on they will be adding more aircraft.
You can actually stay longer than you think because outside is Sarum Airfield; you can see private planes take off and land.
