“Pleasant overnight stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Travelling locally on business, I thought I would stay near Salisbury to get in and have a look at the cathedral again after many years. Very friendly owners with helpful information and recommendations about the town, parking, restaurants etc. Good bed, very nice breakfast, clean all through. Very hospitable, would recommend.

Spent a night in Salisbury as were taking part in an event nearby. The hotel was easily accessible from Salisbury and a taxi in for the evening only cost £7. As others have mentioned, the welcome we received was extremely friendly and we were very pleased with the hotel room. It was nice and bright and spacious, and had plenty of facilities (tea and coffee, hair dryer, plenty of hangers...). The breakfast was very enjoyable with a good choice of cooked, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Although the hotel is placed on a relatively busy road, the rooms are all set well back and I found ours very peaceful, even with the window open. The only slight gripe (my husband had!) was that the bed was a bit too soft... Would definitely return if in the area again.

One of the warmest welcomes on arrival. Room spacious and clean. Easy to find with ample parking spaces. A great recommendation for a nearby pub for an evening meal was the icing on the cake.

An excellent choice as very comfortable, clean and welcoming B & B. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Recommended the Victoria & Albert local village pub for our evening meal. Traditional English thatched pub with real fire, wonderful ales & food.

Just stayed for one night during visit to Salisbury and Stonehenge. Room was spacious and spotless and we received a very warm welcome even though it was our first time. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. On the evening we walked into Salisbury which was around a 25min walk and had a look round the Cathedral and had a drink in the New Inn. If we go to the area on another visit we would have no hesitation to stay here again and would recommend Cricketfield to anyone.

Stayed for one night. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Shared all directions for sites and
directions. The full breakfast was wonderful served in a very inviting dining room. Great value
for being so close to Stonehenge. Would return for sure.

Stayed here for one night on a works xmas do in december 2012. The room was really big, lack for nothing and was really quiet. Nice touch of xmas cake on the coffee tray. Breakfast was good too. Paid £70 so wasn't the cheapest but would happily go back.
