It has been awhile since my husband and I returned from our trip to the UK. I've finally had the chance to pass on some info to anyone who might be interested in staying in Salisbury. Out of all the b&b's we stayed in during our vacation, the best one was the Wyndham Park Lodge in Salisbury. The owner, Suzanne, was extremely personable, friendly, and helpful. This b&b is a three star accomodation...very affordable and clean. It is situated on a nice quiet street. It may not be the high class, posh place some people might prefer staying in, but I'd stay there again in a heart beat!!!

This is a marvelous place to stay! Suzanne and Peter go out of their way to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. The breakfast selections are varied and all I tried were delicious. The location is convenient - close enough to downtown Salisbury to walk to everything, but far enough away for it to be very peaceful. Three adults stayed in the family room which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. I will definitely recommend this to anyone I know who is travelling to this area and hope to return someday.

I stayed two nights last August. Although I stayed in more luxurious lodgings during a 2-month trip thru Britain, overall, the Wyndham Park was the best in terms of overall friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast, price, facilities and just general good feeling. It felt like staying at your Aunt Martha's house in the country. Suzanne really makes you feel like home. Highly recommended.

We loved our room (tucked in the back, off the garden). It was so quiet and felt like we had our own little house. Suzanne was a gracious hostess. She went out of her way to see if there were tickets available for the local production of "My Fair Lady". Suzanne's breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast room was charming. We will definitely recommend this B&B and the town of Salisbury to any of our friends visiting England.
