We arrived at the hotel at 1.40pm and were told that it was hotel policy not to check into a room before 2.00pm. We felt this was quite petty seeing that we were anxious to freshen up after our journey and head out immediately. We left our bags at reception and checked into our room four hours later after we returned to the hotel.
We asked for instructions how to pick up the Stonehenge tour bus and we were surprised to be given the incorrect information.
The hotel advertises Wifi in the rooms but, in our case, we didn’t find this so. The reception was negligible. However, we were able to use Wifi in the lobby.
The room was a nice size and I loved the long bath tub. I’m quite tall and I was able to soak at ease after a long day traveling and sightseeing.
The hotel has a good location, a few minutes walk from the town center. The hotel seemed well run and the staff were friendly.
There’s a buffet breakfast in the morning but don’t hang about……..it’s only available until 9.00am.
If you want Wifi in your room, make sure you insist on this when you check in.

With reference to your first point, I do have to say that official check in time is from 2.00pm onwards, however if rooms are ready prior to this and we have an early arrival, the Reception Team will be only to happy to let the guest check in early.
With reference to incorrect information given about Stonehenge, I am sorry about this and I am in the process of talking to the team to find out why this happened.
After several issues with the WiFi we have now had an engineer in the property to rectify this problem, but I do thank you for letting me know.
Finally I am pleased you got to enjoy a good saok after your long day travelling, and I do hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you to Milford Hall Hotel if you return to the Uk in the future.
