“Go up the spire!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Join the spire behind the scenes tour. Interesting guide, see how the cathedral was built and a fantastic view at the end. If you have read Pillars of the Earth this is a tour for you. Brings medieval cathedral building to life. 300 plus steps up and down are not for the feint hearted! Well worth it.

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

This was the first Church we visited in U.K. so it had a great effect on us, so old and beautiful. I wish we had allocated more time, it was a Sunday and we could of stayed for the service I was really wanting to hear singing in the cathedral, but we had to rush off as we were heading of to Dartmoor. It was great driving through the big gates of a stone wall to access the area, it was a really mind blowing start to our U.K. experience like stepping back in time.
