Was seduced in to going here by the statement that they now do gluten-free pizza and for a coeliac ,a pizza is a rare treat…. If only…. I ordered a ham and mushroom pizza + paid extra for a topping of roast peppers…. I wish! What I got: a decent helping of prosciutto served on a very dry pizza base that had been shown some tomato (I reckon it had been lightly brushed with very thin tomato juice as there was no taste or moisture, just a bit of colour) a few shrivelled up mushrooms and couldn’t see the peppers but eventually found four very thin strips of red and yellow pepper, a couple of olives and a bit of cheese thrown on top. Don’t they realise that by penny pinching (for heavens sake we are talking pence for a few more tomatoes and mushrooms) that they wreck any chance for a repeat visit? The whole thing was like eating tasteless cardboard and such a big letdown, I deeply regret that I sacrificed a decent meal at Cotes Brasserie for this and resent that £12.25 was spent on this dish which did not deserve to be called a pizza. I’ve had decent GF pizza elsewhere so the base was not the problem – it was the skimping on the topping that was! Definitely won’t be going back to Prezzo after this.
