“Absolutely fabulous experience every time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

My friend and my mother come here several times a week at lunchtimes. We have never had a bad experience, not once. The owners and staff could not be more helpful and the food is excellent. The best range of cakes in town!! This is a little gem in Salisbury's crown....seek it out and enjoy!!

“Magnificent breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

A superior sausage sandwich (with brown sauce, of course!) and egg on toast for my colleague, plus two bespoke coffees was near perfection for a couple of businessmen preparing to launch themselves once more into the cuthroat world of commerce.

It was so good that we stayed and each had another coffee - and were subsequently late for our meeting.... :-)

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We headed to this cafe having read the positive reviews on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint ... the English double negative for 'it was fantastic'! Great food - we had a burger and a sandwich, as well as drinks (Jasmine tea and coffee) and cake. Everything was delicious. The service was good. The welcome when we arrived was really friendly. There was plenty of room to store our pram downstairs, and the ladies toilets had a clean and spacious baby-changing station ... just to clarify, same baby, different nappy ;-)

My only complaint is that they're 90 minutes from Oxford!

“Great.... again....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Greengages Café became one of my most favourite places in Salisbury. It starts with excellent breakfast with wide selection of cooked, healthy or quick bite to lovely lunch always cooked to order and unbelievably tasty. I am a huge "soup lover" so daily soup offer is greatly appreciated. Greengages also offers a wide selection of gluten-free food which I never tasted but I heard many positive reactions.
Food is always piping hot, cooked from fresh local ingredients so what more should one want. The owners are always very friendly and welcoming, making sure each guest gets excellent service.
I simply love this place and can recommend it with 1000% confidence.
