My wife and I visited Rajas on a Wednesday evening. We arrived at 8.30 pm.
We choose to visit here due to its good reviews on Trip advisor.
Rajas is situated in the less desirable part of Roundhay Road (as opposed to the Oakwood end)on the outskirts of Leeds, but optimistically we saw this as a plus point and expected authentic food priced accordingly.
The food was certainly good. However, it was not outstanding and food of a similar quality can be found at many establishments in Leeds. Service was excellent. The interior of the restaurant can best be described as traditional.
Food is by no means cheap and comparable to many city centre restaurants (copy of bill attached as a photo).
10% service was added, which on a personal note is something that I strongly disapprove of.
Although the food and service were excellent, this does not make up for the poor location, old fashioned interior, high bill and especially the 10% service will make this my last visit.

Firstly ,I like to thank u for your visit. I/we didn't make roundhay area ,so the complain about the should be directed to Leeds city council .Glad. You enjoyed the food, but you forgot to mention ,which other restaurants can serve better or same . You were asked twice by the Waiter ,if you would like to have your service charge removed ,because it's optional and you declined the offer. So I don't understand your complain. Ok. So the food was good service was good and because you don't want to give £2 to the waiters and the area is run down ,you are going to miss good Indian food . Good luck and hope you get satisfaction elsewhere or will you ?
