Well this was a first for us - not staying in Leeds City Centre and eating in town. Restaurant was booked by a colleague and boy did he get it right - he says I am probably the fussiest person to chose a restaurant for! The restaurant is located on a provincial parade of shops but don't let that put you off. Inside was good, light and we didn't feel too trapped by other tables being too close. We'd looked at the menu online before we went and were really looking forward to our visit. The food and wine were great and we were served by pleasant staff. The only off putting bit was the continuous - well it seemed like that to me - of happy birthdays - it was a bit like being in a Katherine Tate sketch - or even worse a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere in the world. But hey the people who were having birthdays enjoyed it - I think but I would have hated it. Defo give this one a go.
