“Delightful Gujarati Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Excellent service and good atmosphere.
Down to earth restaurant, no frills just good quality vegetarian food.

Try sharing these interesting dishes!

Tip: you can ask for the dishes to be made mild to hot.

“Delicious vegetarian curries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Hansa's is a hidden gem in Leeds. My husband and I love vegetarian food and went recently for our third visit; this time with his Mum who was staying with us for a few days. The staff are very friendly and we were delighted to meet Hansa herself this time, who was very welcoming. There is a wide choice of food on the menu. We had the full three courses, as there were so many tasty dishes. It's the best curry I've tasted. The desserts are really interesting - not just the usual ice cream - you can have sweet bulgar wheat (lapsi), which is delicious.

We'll be back again soon - I intend to work my way through the mouth-watering menu.

“I cannot praise this place enough - just go and find out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

What a gem, there's no way any Tripadvisor review will give this place justice.

It's a HOME, not a house or a restaurant. Come and meet the owners, talk about the food, their charity work, their life philosophy, you will love it even if you don't like Asian/Indian food too much or if you are a militant carnivore.

Try the cookery classes they offer too, you won't be disappointed!

“A good meal at Hansas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

The food was tasty as usual. Not as brilliant as I remember though. Visited a couple of years ago. The owners are still very very friendly and very welcoming. Keep up the hard work.

“tiptop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Went with my girlfriend and had a great time. We ordered a starter to share and a thali each but definitely didnt need the starter, we were so full by the end. The thali was top notch and came with everything you could want. the spices and the care put into it were a step above any of the other curry houses i've been to around Leeds, all washed down with a nice lassi and a good bottle of wine. Would definitely reccomend it especially as a date. Top marks!!!!
