We first went here on a busy Valentines day a few years ago. The food & service were both excellent & when we booked a night on Leeds this was our first choice of restaurant. Our table was booked for 8pm, as it wasn't ready we were offered a drink in the bar. Service here was faultless. Bar man was very knowledgable on the wine & allowed my partner to taste the two he couldn't decide between. Unfortunately it went downhill from here. We didn't sit at our table until 8.40. The menus were delivered swiftly but sadly it took another 20 minutes for our order to be taken & then a number of dishes were no longer available. We got out starters at 9.15 & our main courses at 10pm. At which point I had gone past being hungry. There seemed to be two main causes, not enough staff and one party completely monopolising the one waiter there was. He was doing his best in difficult circumstances & we didn't want to make his night even worse by complaining so left without providing any feedback which we normally provide on the night.
