Had a night in Leeds a few weekends ago and was looking for a nice restaurant to eat at. After looking on good old Tripadvisor we went for Rare.
As we were planning to spend out night around the "gay" area of Leeds, the location was pretty much faultless.
I was a bit cautious as I walked in as it was extremely loud but luckily this was just the bar area and we were quickly escorted downstairs to the calmer restaurant area, only to meet a giant cow, a pretty cool feature in the middle of the room.
We were given a little pot of sausages and brown sauce which were delicious.
Food was delicious, I had the mini chicken whilst my partner had the pork belly. Only point to make is that we felt the starter menu could benefit from selling bread with oils/butter.
Price wasn't too bad for what you got. Definitely somewhere I'd consider returning to in the future.
