Was having to catch a train in the morning but wanted a nice warm cooked breakfast so I popped into this cafe as I saw they had quite an extensive breakfast menu.
They had avocado on toast, scrambled eggs with toast, sausage with toast etc. I ordered the scrambled eggs with a latte and my brother ordered the sausage with toast. The staff were very understanding when we told them it had to be quite quick because we had to catch a train. The food was served within ten minutes.
The bread used was homemade with grains; very big chunky slices and absolutely delicious. The scrambled eggs were perfect - velvety and not too salty or overdone. My brother enjoyed his sausage with the huge toast slices. The latte was also very strong but served at drinking temperature. So if you're into pipping hot coffee you have to tell the staff that.
The cakes looked tasty - gingerbread, gluten free options, blondies; about £2 each so slightly pricey. I'd say a great cafe if you're looking for a slightly creative menu, with good coffee and great service but on the pricey end. Its near the Leeds Corn Exchange and city center so perfect for those not wanting to venture too far.
