I stayed at the De Vere hotel, just down the road, where the food and service was terrible! I was on a course for the weekend and walked by this restaurant by chance. I returned the same evening for dinner, not expecting much, but what a find! Literally it saved our time in Leeds, both my sister and I loved the food, the house white wine was good and the service was attentive without being annoying. We went on the Friday night the only downside was that it shut early on a Sunday or we would have been back again as there were so many dishes that we were tempted by on the menu.
This part of Leeds appeared quiet, although lots of activity at the De Vere and it is opposite the grounds of Leeds University. I think they need to shout a bit more and get more people through the door. Come on guys, if this restaurant is on your doorstep or your visiting Leeds you would be a fool to miss it. It's worth finding!
