“Thanks Leeds City Council”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We often go to Temple Newsam Park for a walk or to walk our dog - a dog walkers paradise. We have visited the House on several occasions and find it's history fascinating.
I would just like to say a big thank you to Leeds City Council - not many citizens have such a facility on their doorstep, with such fantastic grounds, farm, lake, picnic area, adventure playground and events going on. Brilliant

“Should be better known”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Leeds art gallery keeps its pre-nineteenth century art collection here. It's a grand Jacobean house, and the grounds are magnificent. Many more celebrated houses are not nearly as good. Treat yourself to a visit, and allow a whole day.

“A grand day out!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

We took our 1 year old grandson to Temple Newsam to visit the farm. He really enjoyed looking at all the animals and both playgrounds. The tractors and diggers also were well received, although he was a bit small for some of them he still insisted on trying them. We spend some time sitting on the grass and wished we had taken a picnic, although the food from the cafe was excellent. We also went on one of the walks, with the little one in his backpack!!!
