“A gentle hour or 2”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

This is a very pleasent place to spend on hour or two. Visited on a wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet. The exhibits are very interesting and you get a real sense of what it must have been like when it was a working mill. The mill is on a number of floors but there is a lift. There is space outside to relax and tables for a picnic. There is no cafe but you can help yourself to tea and coffee for a small charge.

“Ok to pass an hour or 2 but lacking something”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Paid a visit here yesterday, seemed quite empty for a Saturday. £6.70 for 2 to get in so no issue there, we joined a tour just starting explain process from wool to cloth, interesting and engaging. After the tour we we're left to explore. The rest of the museum is somewhat confusing in its layout and was devoid of any staff. It was although rather run down I thought. A place for schools and machine enthusiasts more than general public, In and out in 90mins.

“Great place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

Came here today with my son as have been meaning to visit for a while. Entrance price was very cheap and there are loads to see. It is over a few floors so takes a good hour at least to get round. Had a demonstration on the machinary which my son found great. Loved the old style cinema and my son like the kids toy area and den. Nice shop at end as we always like to get a souveneir of everywhere we visit. Only downside is the exit was a bit confusing. Will definately come again next year.

“The place be to be to learn about the industrial revolution”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

This is an amazing museum. You can see here the "spinning Jenny" and other inventions of the Industrial revolution. You can spend here almost a day if you want. But the tickets are cheap, so you can also visit again. I think this is the best museum of Leeds. There is so much to see!
