“Top Buisness Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

I stay here on buisness when i work in leeds. The hotel is excellent, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The superior rooms are brilliant, they are homely and relaxing if you stay away from home alot. The staff are great, they are so friendly and will do anything to help. The food is also top notch, all in all this is great buisness hotel.

Quite simply the friendliest staff I've ever encountered! Location a little remote and the decor in the rooms possibly a wee bit drab, but overall, absolutely outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Stay here frequently on business. Staff are great and make you feel really welcome and they get to know you by name, rooms are excellent particularly the bathrooms which are fab (heated floor, demisting mirrors, beatifully clean). The superior rooms are worth the extra if you want something a bit more special. The food is good with a good range, the brekky is delicious. Have tried other hotels in the area (often not through choice!) but always end up back here. Only downside is the location - a drive to get anywhere really - but as a base or just for the night it is perfect.

Room Tip: Worth paying that little bit more for the superior rooms

We stayed for just a weekend break, and we had a standard room which was lovely. Very clean and tidy. All staff were very helpful and chatty nothing was too much bother. The food was amazing, the menu alittle limited and some dishes carry an extra suppliment, but wonderfully cooked and presented. Bar prices are high but its to be expected in a hotel. Overall we would definitely stay here again, its I've of the best hotels we've stayed in in a long while.

This hotel is lovely, reasonably priced with an excellent restaurant.
Car parking is plentiful and the location is easy to get to.
We go here for one night every so often as a treat, just to get away from it all and for that it is excellent! However, there is nothing to do near by and apart from the great restaurant the hotel has no other facilities. We love it, but it wouldn't be ideal for a long stay.

From check in to check out everything was excellent.
On arrival there is plenty of parking right out the front of the hotel. The building itself is nothing to write home about but as soon as you enter you know that the internal upgrading work was completed to a high standard.
Check in was a quick and pleasant affair. I upgraded to a superior room and was very pleased on entering. Everything about the room was quality.
As with all Best Western hotels the Wi-Fi is free.
The choice of food in the restaurant was very good and I enjoyed a well cooked steak.
There is plenty of choice of cereals and cooked options for breakfast.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in this area.

We have just returned from 2 days stay here while visiting Leeds and York. It's in a good location for both cities. The staff are very friendly and the superior room was an excellent choice. It was clean, comfortable and such a good size. The bathroom was great as it had a bath (so many places only have a shower now) and free toiletries which were lovely. We had a 3 course meal one evening which was excellent too. Would definitely recommend.
