You could go nowhere better for your event. I have used the Leeds City Hilton for the past 14 years. The accommodation, service, efficiency and friendliness of all involved gets better from year to year. !0/10

Recently stayed here for two nights in a suite on a very good deal. Great room on 12th floor, massive bed, wonderful free-standing roll-top bath. Only criticism was that the TV was so far away it was almost impossible to watch it in bed. And the corridor got a bit noisy but otherwise a relaxing two days away from home.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone goes on about the lobby and the escalators and the smell of chlorine / drains wafting up. It isn’t ideal and does make the bar area seem like an airport lounge but what can they do?

One other niggle. The restaurant menu was much shorter and with far less choice than the room service one. Think this could be addressed / rectified.

Breakfast was also great with loads of choice, attentive staff and an accessible buffet unlike the sister DoubleTree hotel round the corner, where breakfast is a nightmare.

Will probably return.

Hen party of ten stayed here. Great location 2 min from train station. Rooms where fab and hotel managed to put us all on the same floor. We also got a free upgrade. Deffo would stay here again. Thank you.

Hilton in Leeds has upgraded it's bathrooms.
But that's probably where it's hospitality efforts hit the roof. Everything else is an extra. WiFi costs more per day than any internet operator charges per month. To borrow an umbrella requires a £20 deposit for an umbrella that costs £4 and the breakfast is a two star rating at best.
We checked into out room to find ketchup smeared on the furniture. A complaint rendered us an extra cleaning, a letter of gratitude from management and a couple of courtesy drinks in the bar. Thank you, a nice gesture but where is the businessman's hotel Hilton says it is?
Hilton Leeds now seems to have become the favourite for Hens and Stags and the smell for chlorine from the health clubs has saturated the elevators.
The ventilation in the room was so noisy we shut it off and opened the window.
if it's the proximity to the cousin, the new Doubletree next door that has brought down the esteem of Hilton Leeds I can only speculate, but this was not the best of Hilton stays.

Room Tip: Breakfast not worth the addition cost.

The hotel is very convenient for the city and close to the station.
The buffet food we had was excellent and the breakfast was also good though the food could have been a little hotter. Rooms average for Hilton. We didn't have time to fully utilise the facilities.

I purchased a group on last year for my friends birthday. There were 6 of us in total and we were all disgusted by this spa!! We would NEVER visit this spa again. I'm not sure if you can even call it a spa.... More glorified hotel with a dirty pool. From the beginning trying to book a day with treatments was hard work, the staff didn't know if they were coming or going... On arrival we were given our robes and towels which were bleach stained... We were told there was swimming lessons going on for 'a little while' which put a downer on the day to start with as we hadn't been informed of this when booking... The lessons were not on for a little while but actually for the whole day!! We decided to try keep to the side of the pool and carry on with our day, this was hard due to the screaming and shouting voices of children, instructors and their parents. It was like been at your local council pool. There were no seating places around the pool as these had been taken up by the parents. Parents who also decided to sit on our towels and robes. Safe to say we all had a headache and was not impressed or relaxed by this one little bit. The pool was also dated, dirty and cold! Never been in such a cold jacuzzi ever-which kept turning off so we had to sit in a cold pool. The steam room and sauna is very small so you can only stay in so long before you feel chlosterphobic. We decided to speak to the manager who apologied sincerely but basciaclly said it was his mistake and there was nothing he could do about it..which was not good enough. We decided to get a bite to eat and was mortified when we walked out of the lift in our costumes and robes to find we were stood in the middle of a very busy lobby. The girls came to take each of us for our treatments, we were taken all through the hotel in our robes and costumes to a standard hotel room with dimmed lights and music, the treatments themselves were nice and the girls did a good job it was nice to escape from the chaos downstairs. After we had all received our treatments the noise and disruption in the spa area had become soo much worse that we all wanted to leave immediately. This was also hard work as the changing were soo tiny and packed with children and mums from the swimming lessons. The staff on reception knew our group was very unhappy with the day, the manager promised, because we had such a bad experience we could have a complimentary visit back to the spa and took the lead names email address to send all details to us. We still never received the email and it had been over 6 months Since our visit. Safe to say our spa day at serenity Leeds was appalling from start to finish. Thought it would be best to share this as another groupon has appeared. From 6 very unhappy and disappointed visitors.

Rooms are small but were very very clean which was lovely.
Looks like it could have been newly refirbished - very nice.

Room was to include complimentary bath robes (x2) and slippers (x2), but only 1 pair of slippers and only 1 of the bath robes had a belt.

Great for access to Leeds city centre.

Car-park horrendously small, especially as we have a larger vehicle.

Did have a nice stay, drinks expensive in the bar, machine in car-park took our money but didn't validate our parking ticket and hotel then withdrew a further £8 off our card - very dissapointing.!
