Description: Serving temptingly fresh and flavoursome creations from world-famous chef Jamie Oliver, Jamie's Italian evokes the vibrancy and passion embedded in traditional Italian cooking and culture. A homely neighbourhood vibe is inspired by the rustic and relaxed ambience of the 'Italian table', with delicious flavours from the menu including truffled turkey Milanese, or a colourful seaside risotto.

“Cold”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

I have been to the restaurant a number of times and enjoyed it - great for a light bite. I went a few weeks ago on a Sunday at about 5 o'clock and it wasn't very full. We were told that a number of items were not available from the menu - approx 50% was not available. The restaurant was really cold and we had to ask to move twice to a slightly warmer area of the restaurant. Eventually I put my coat on and asked the to turn the heat up. The food that i eventually ordered was good but I was cold and thoroughly didn't enjoy the experience

“Just because it has Jamie Oliver's name doesn't automatically means it's good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

We went on Saturday night and unfortunately it was disappointing. The starter if baked mushrooms and mozzarella had far too much cheese and the mushrooms were dry. Main course of a trio of cannelloni was very nice. For dessert I ordered chocolate Brownie but asked for vanilla instead if amaretto ice cream. Annoyingly this was ignored and the waiter didnt come back to ask if desserts were ok. Friends ordered the special which were strawberry frittas and these were terrible and didn't taste of strawberry at all. When the bill came we found it very presumptuous they automaticaally added a 10% service charge. Wouldn't rush back.

“Ruined wedding anniversary”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

It was our 1st wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. We have a 18 mth old so don't go out now! Booked for 8.45 pm - as got shown to our table another couple were running to move from the worst table in the place to ours!! The waitress did nothing (I told her!!) so we sat on what are stupidly placed chairs upstairs. Like eating in a corridor! The staff were nice but quite a few dishes not available from an already small menu. My husband had spicy sausage pasta and there were about 2 bites of sausage!! I have been here twice before with friends and recommended it for our anniversary. Gutted. Should have gone to Brasserie Blanc!

“Gold Card offer £10 off the bill.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Saturday lunchtime so the place was busy but seated in about 15 mins and service was quick enough. Received two mini complimentary starters with Gold Card. Rissotto seemed a little under cooked but Mrs loves their Vongole. Due to shift change had to ask for discount but no promlem. Three courses, drinks, coffee and tip came to £70.

“Nothing to shout home about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

When going to Jamie's you do expect tasty food, after listening to the specials we went for a prawn prima Vera. We found it to be pretty tasteless and had to liven up with Parmesan Not what you expect. On a brighter note the button mushroom starter was amazing.
