We're not sure why this is listed under Keighley because it is actually right on the main street of Haworth, which is a tiny town above Keighley - about 10 to 15 minutes away. The location of the Apothecary couldn't be better if you are interested in learning about the Bronte family. It is right across the street from the pub that the brother frequented and the church where the dad was pastor. The Bronte Museum is just a couple of minutes behind the church. There is also a walking path you can take through the sheep fields just a couple of more minutes past the Museum. For such a small town, there are loads of shops and restaurants for tourists to visit.

The Guest House has updated its rooms. We had the family room with a queen sized bed and bunk beds. Other than the bunk beds, all the other furniture (queen sized bed, bed side tables, chairs, wardrobe) was all brand new. There was even a new flat screened television.

We loved the breakfast. They have the full English breakfast - including the fried bread! It was a bit much for my daughters and I (after the first time), so they will take specific orders - such as just the eggs and toast. Husband of course had the full breakfast both days! The dining room now has a beautiful patio that can sit several groups of people (when the weather cooperates.).

An excercise room has been added. We didn't use it - figured we got enough excercise walking up and down the hills of Haworth. If you have your own car, you can park overnight right in front of the Guest House. You do have to move your car by 10:00 am so that the dining room - which is also a tea room, can set up there out door tables for the day.

One of the best parts of Haworth is the drive to get there. It is a little off the beaten path and we just love taking all the smaller, back roads over all those hills to get there. We also went for one day over to York for something different to do. It was about an hours drive and we took advantage of York's park and ride system so we didn't have to drive into town.

This was our second stay year and we'd love to go back!
