“Another Excellent Weekend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Rosebud Cottage is the perfect place to spend a short break in Bronte Country. Each room is different but all are tastefully decorated in a traditional style, some with four poster beds. The en-suite facilities are modern and immaculately clean with fluffy towels. The breakfast is the finest in Yorkshire and the friendliness and hospitality of owners, Caroline and Adrian is second to none. Like many other customers, this was not our first visit and it won't be our last!

Just returned home following an overnight stay at Rosebud Cottage. Cant speak highly enough of not only the facilities, but also the hospitality of Caroline and Adrian! We were met at the door by Adrian and shown to the small but perfectly formed Charlotte Rose room. spotlessly clean, with plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower the room was more than adequate and the small touches, which included mince pies and a tiny xmas tree made it all the more welcoming. After a lovely night out in howarth( caroline offered us a lift up the hill), we returned to a toasty room and comfy bed and took advantage of possibly the best stocked tea tray i have ever come across. Breakfast the following morning felt like we were in a friends kitchen rather than a bed and breakfast. If i had to pick a fault i would say that.........no sorry cant think of anything!

This is the sixth time we have stayed at Rosebud Cottage- first review I have written. It is always warm, cosy and welcoming, especially after a soaking walk over the moors! Each room is unique, with comfortable beds and individual high standard decor. Good variety of breakfasts to suit all and this year the addition of the coffee machine (with cookies, biscuits and muffins) means you never go hungry! Caroline and Adrian couldn't be more attentive and are always happy to help. We stayed four nights- would love to have been able to stay longer. Although Haworth is a small town there's always someting new to see or do.

Room Tip: The Tapestry and Charotte Rose rooms tucked away at the top of the house are bright and have excelle...

We enjoyed a fabulous 2 night stay at the Rosebud Cottage. Caroline and Adrian are excellent hosts and gave a warm welcome. Our room was beautifully decorated and had a jacussi bath in the on-suite - we can highly recommend! The beds had duck down quilts which are extremely warm and cosy. Towelling robes, fluffy towels, plentiful selection of hot drinks and biscuits where all available in the room. The breakfast menu had a great selection with fresh berries, fruits and cereals, full Yorkshire breakfast, kippers and many variations eg. omlettes, poached and scrambled eggs.

The cottage is just a few minutes walk away from many points of interest; ie the main street of Haworth with its good selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops, the Bronte parsonage and in the other direction the Worth Valley Steam railway. (Please note there is a bit of a steep slope on the walk up to the main street, but its only for five minutes.)

If you are thinking of having a trip to Haworth we recommend you stay here, you will not be dissapointed!

We look forward to seeing Caroline and Adrian again some time - many thanks for a lovely stay.

Tricia & John

We arrived to a warm welcome from Caroline, who was more than helpful from parking the car to being shown to the Tapestry room, and recommending where to eat. The room itself was clean and well presented in all aspects and had everything that we could think of or want.even down to cotton buds!! Wi-fi was very useful. Breakfast and service was excellent with a good range of menu choices. The location of Rosebud Cottage is excellent for exploring Howarth, travelling on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, and area. We are already planning our next stay!!.

My Niece and I booked into Rosebud Cottage for one night whilst we visited Haworth and the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Although for one night only, we had such a lovely stay. Due to a change of plans, we arrived earlier than expected which wasn't a problem and were greeted by Caroline who made us instantly welcome and showed us to our room. And what a pretty room! We stayed in the Twin en suite which was so comfortable and had everything we needed (tea/coffee/biscuits, DVD player - even bath robes!). There is a guest lounge area/conservatory outside of the room a long with a coffee making machine and reading material, all thoughtful touches. The location of the Guest House is perfect, a few minutes walk via a very pretty park will bring you to Main Street and the Parsonage. Breakfast was wonderful, so good that we ate nothing for the rest of the day we were so full! Caroline and Adrian are fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable about the local area - they even offered the services of their dog to walk us up onto the moors as he knows the way very well! We may take you up on that offer guys as I'm sure we will be back! Thank you once again,

We originally booked for 1 night but stayed for 2 as it was such a good experience. Adrian was waiting for us, showed us where to park, and then carried our bags to our lovely, clean room. The en-suite was very large with excellent toiletries and big, fluffy towels. Yummy biscuits were available both in the room as well as in the comfortable Cellar/Lounge which also had a machine for coffee, tea & hot chocolate which could be used at any time. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts, Caroline & Adrian, could not have been warmer or more helpful. There is a park nearby which is pleasant to walk through to reach the upper part of Haworth where the Brontë Museum is. After a wonderful ramble over the moors to Charlotte's Waterfall and Brontë Bridge (5 miles but worth it!) we arrived back to find some delicious cake in our room - thoughtful treatment from dedicated hosts - thank you.
