We had a pleasant stay at the old White lion. The location couldn't have been any better and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The one thing that did bother us quite a bit was the constant loud noise of running water that was coming from outside our room. At first we just thought it was the people in the room next door having a really long shower, but I think it was just the boiler in a cupboard outside, and it went on and on and on all through the night. I would stay again, but I would have to ask for a different room. Other than that we had a lovely time in a lovely place.
