“Lovely little theatre. Great atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

We visited in Sepetmber 2013 in order to see The Rocky Horror Show. The show was FABULOUS.

The theatre. Is surprisingly small. However this provided for an intimate atmosphere where I found you were totally absorbed in the show instead of being swallowed by the theatre!

The building it's self appears well cared for and as another revised has posted is beautifully lit at night. The decor is beautiful and of its time.

We would definitely go back the the Alhambra to see another show.

Keep it up guys!

Lovely theatre, staff very polite and friendly. Great show. The seats were great and the atmosphere was brilliant. We have been here a few times and will come back for more shows.

“Enjoyable night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

We visited this theatre to see new Jersey nights which is a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, this is the third time we have seen tributes to Frankie, the other two were at other venues, this version was excellent and the packed audience seemed to agree with me as they were up on their feet and dancing in the aisles.
The theatre advised us were to park and gave us a discount which was good value, this car park was a short walk away and the only thing that spoilt the night for me was walking past grassy areas and seeing rats running around, some children were playing here and told us that there were lots around and they were used to them, this has nothing to do with the theatre which was spotless but did not endear the area of Bradford to me.
The weather had turned colder on the day we visited but the theatre had the air conditioning on which made us feel cold and we kept our jackets on.

“A good theatre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

A good theatre... Well lit at night time in the heart of Bradford city. Parking is horrendous , either you park at NCP opposite the city hall along the road, or at the back of al hambra theatre itself....

“A review of the Theater not the Shows”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

This is a must visit on any trip to Bradford, even if only to admire the building itself built as it was in the "Moorish" style. It is a Victorian copy of the Alhambra Palace in Spain and while not as big equals it for its grandioise exterior which has been kept maintained to the highest standard.

Go inside for more visual delights, the audotorium is supurbe easily equalling anything the finest theaters in the West End of London have to offer. You can take afternoon tea or a snack in the reaturant/bar but if you can get tickets and see a show. It offers good repratory and a selection of touring shows, I have been to see many and they have always been good.
