I don't often go to restaurants, Being a wheelchair user with major health issues means going out involves a great deal of effort, and usually results in a degree of disapointment, or total frustration at what passes for w/chair accessible. I hate being seated in dingy or difficult to access corners, having to re-arrange a whole room to accomodate my chair, and constantly apologising to fellow dinners for the disruption and inconvenience. However this could change, we have found Marco.
Been a couple of times now, last time being on Thursday evening.
Far from being dissapointed, the evening was one i'd not only like to repeat, but would like others to experience to. We were met at the ramped access by Will, the owner and real gent. There was easy access to both the heated outside area, and our table in restaurant. Plenty of space to maneuver, and staff accomodate my chair effortlessly. Nothing was to much trouble, and alongside Will, Marco and the staff, create a ambiance that's really special, but what about the food. Well I'm sure the whole party would agree the food at Marco is 'Magnifco' wonderfully presented, real attention to detail and something for everyone whatever size your appetites.. I'm a small eater, but just had to make room for the sublime creme brulee, and even the heartiest appetites amoung us were satisfied. If 3 courses isn't for everyone Marcos also offers breakfasts, lunches, and coctails too, and I feel sure you'll get a wonderful welcome, great food, a service thats unsurpassed whatever time of day.
