I loved this place, as I went expecting it to be rather crap.. and it turned out really interesting. Theres not much of the palace yet, but wait for a tour - the lady who guided us was EXCELLENT, she knew everything and anything about the excavations, made it interesting and related it very well. What is here is floor mosaics in AMAZING condition. In addition they have a few interactive things for the kids, some gardens... and my favourite part... a taste testing section where a lady cooks up Roman foods (at home and brings them in) the way they were cooked back in the day (simple ones) and you are able to taste them. Equally suitable for kids and / or adults. You are also able to film / take photos here.
