Went to Cafe Khans last week for a birthday meal with the family, booked a table for 8:30pm on a Friday, there was 4 of us. Wanted to know what the hype was about and why everyone was raving about the restaurant.
Went in, wasn’t too busy. Sat down, was very cold in the restaurant, maybe because we were sat near the fire exit.
Place looked decent inside, menu was nice and mixed and good prices. Good atmosphere too. One waiter was really nice and helpful.
We ordered starters and it came out and was very nice. The fish starter, the mixed grill and the fresh baked naan. The chicken fried rice wasn’t anything special. We told the waiter we wanted the mains after the starters, but he brought it at the same time! We told him so many times as well but a shame, would have given the place 5 stars.
Main courses were nice, £12 for a massive t bone steak chips and coleslaw (coleslaw is gorgeous) and £9 for a whole grilled chicken, chips and coleslaw, very very reasonable and well worth the money.
Overall would definitely recommend and look forward to going again.
